The Best Bling Dog Collars
Some folks think that dog sweaters and coats are a frivolous expense. After all, dogs are born wearing coats and they really have no need of clothing.

That may have been true in the distant past when most dogs lived outdoors and the law of the land was survival of the fittest. Back then most dogs were of the large, shaggy variety. Their size and fur protected them from the cold and they were acclimated to whatever Mother Nature threw their way.

Human beings are all born without clothes, too, and we spent many centuries living outdoors, wearing nothing but fig leaves. Back then, we were fine with that, too. But as we've become acclimated to the indoor lifestyle, moving into caves and mud huts, we started wearing clothing when we ventured outside because we were no longer comfortable when the temperature took a dip.

These days, dog breeds are smaller, some so tiny they fit in a teacup. And most of our dogs, even the largest, live inside our house, only venturing outside when they absolutely have to, especially when it's cold or damp. Why, some of these little dogs would turn into a 'pup'-sicle if they didn't have a dog sweater or hoodie.

The next time your dog refuses to go outside don't make light of the situation. It might just be that he's so accustomed to being indoors that he can no longer tolerate the cool, outdoor temperatures.

If you need to put on a sweater to venture outside, then your dog probably needs one, too!

Now that the weather is getting warmer it's time to put those big bulky sweaters in the closet.

But you don't want your furry buddy to wear last year's worn out old collar. After all, you probably picked up a few new pieces of clothing to spice up your own Spring wardrobe. Your dog needs a Springtime Pick-Me-Up, too!

Dog sweaters and those cute, colorful hoodies for dogs help keep your dog warm and protect him from the weather.

Small dogs like Chihuahuas and Yorkies, and the teacup, miniature and toy breeds, don't tolerate cold or wet weather as well as the larger breeds do. These smaller pups would rather stay inside where it's warm and dry so if you want to take them outside for exercise you need to bundle them up in some clothes.

Springtime weather is unpredictable. It might be warm and sunny one day and cool and rainy the next. And there's always a chance for one more snowfall.

So make sure you keep some warm sweaters handy, and some boots to keep their little paws dry.

But start adding some of this Spring's newest personalized leather dog collars. Because it's time for some Springtime Fun!
